High Temperature Resistant 1150°C Nichrome 2080 2035 1560 Wire Cloth
Nichrome 2080, 2035, and 1560 wire cloth refers to nickel-chromium alloy meshes capable of withstanding temperatures up to 1150°C. Below is an introduction to these nickel-chromium alloys:
Nichrome 2080 alloy wire mesh:
(1) Composition: Typically contains approximately 80% nickel (Ni) and 20% chromium (Cr).
(2) Performance Characteristics:
-High-temperature resistance: nichrome 2080 alloy mesh can operate stably at up to 1200°C in air and 1250°C in inert gases, suitable for long-term use in 1150°C environments.
-Oxidation resistance: Chromium reacts with oxygen at high temperatures to form a dense Cr₂O₃ oxide film, which can significantly enhance oxidation resistance. This film can self-repair continuously at high temperatures, delaying material degradation.
– Electrical properties: The resistivity at 20°C is about 1.09 μΩ·m, with a low temperature coefficient of resistance, making 2080 Ni-Cr alloly mesh ideal for scenarios requiring constant power heating.
– Mechanical properties: The tensile strength of the annealed state is ≥650 MPa, and that of the cold-drawn state can exceed 1000 MPa; the elongation after annealing is ≥20%, showing good processing plasticity and service life.
(3)Application fields: Widely used in electric furnaces, ovens, electric heating tubes, and other electric heating elements, as well as heating wires for glass furnaces and semiconductor diffusion furnaces. It also applies to aerospace temperature-measuring elements, nuclear industry auxiliary heating systems, etc.
Nichrome 2035 wire mesh
(1)Composition: Generally contains about 20% chromium (Cr), 35% nickel (Ni), and the rest is iron (Fe) and trace impurity elements.
(2)Performance Characteristics:
– High-temperature resistance: The long-term working temperature reaches 1100–1200°C, and it can withstand 1250°C temporarily.
– Oxidation & creep resistance: The Cr₂O₃ oxide film formed by chromium ensures oxidation resistance, while the high nickel content improves lattice stability, making it less prone to creep deformation under high-temperature stress.
-Strength properties: The tensile strength at room temperature is ≥650 MPa, and the yield strength is ≥300 MPa; it still maintains high strength at 800°C, avoiding failure caused by high-temperature softening.
(3) Application fields: Commonly used in industrial electric heating elements, high-temperature furnaces, aerospace, chemical equipment, and other fields.

(1)Composition: It may contain about 15% chromium and 60% nickel, but there is currently no exact unified data on the standard composition ratio of this alloy, which needs to be determined according to specific manufacturers and product specifications.
(2) Performance Characteristics:
– Processability: It has good workability and can be easily made into various heating elements, such as wires, strips, and meshes.
– Heating efficiency: With moderate resistivity and high heating efficiency, it plays a good role in medium-temperature heating fields.
(3) Application fields: Mainly used in medium-temperature heating equipment, such as industrial medium-temperature ovens and drying equipment, and can also be used to make household electric heaters and other heating appliances.
