Curved Wedge Wire Sieve Bend Screen’s working method is very clever, mainly relying on gravity and the power of the fluid itself:
Feed: The material (usually slurry) flows uniformly in a tangential direction through the concave surface of the curved sieve plate.
Separation: When flowing through the curved surface, liquid and fine particles will fall through the sieve gap. Larger solid particles slide along the screen surface towards the discharge end due to inertia. The entire process is continuous and does not require external energy

 

Specifications of the bend screen:

  • Common materials: mainly 304 and 316L stainless steel, but special materials such as duplex steel and Hastelloy can also be provided.
  • Arc angle: Common standard angles include 45 °, 60 °, 120 °, 270 °, and 300 °.
  • Screen gap range: High precision, with a minimum of 0.02mm (20 microns).
  • Size: Both width and length can be customized, up to a maximum of 6000mm

Features
  • High efficiency and large processing capacity: The arc-shaped structure generates greater centrifugal force when the material flows through, and its processing capacity and filtration efficiency are superior to those of the same specification flat screen mesh.
  • Anti clogging: The unique structure of V-shaped wedge-shaped wire has narrow gaps on the outside and wide gaps on the inside, making it difficult for particles to get stuck and possessing self-cleaning properties.
  • Durable and long-lasting: Made of stainless steel material, it has excellent corrosion resistance and wear resistance. In addition, when the top of the wedge-shaped wire wears out, the sieve plate can be rotated 180 degrees to continue using the other side, extending its lifespan.
  • Low maintenance cost: The equipment has no moving parts, extremely low failure rate, and the screen plate is easy to replace.
  • Highly customized: The arc angle, screen gap size, width, length, and material can be customized according to specific working conditions.
